SLOTTERS - We offer (3) different Slotters to cut the slots in your beam depending on whether you are a professional, an experienced homeowner or a homeowner with limited-use.
T-REX Pro Slotter
This heavy-duty aluminum tool clamps onto your beam conveniently and any chainsaw with a minimum bar length of 18" can be used to make the 1/4" slot required for the T-REX connector. We recommend an electric Stihl Chainsaw MSE 250 C-Q. This new custom tool offers many options:

T-REX EZ Slotter
Designed as a limited-use tool, this offers another option to make the 1/4" slot required for the T-REX connector. Any saw that can cut a 1/4" slot can be fastened to the EZ Slotter. The EZ slotter is required to make the slot for angled connectors.

ROTARY TABLE & CHAINSAW GUIDE - These two tools are designed to be used together by both professionals and homeowners because it cuts any type/size of wood or timbers.
T-REX Rotary Table
This versatile custom tool is screwed to the beam and used in conjunction with the T-REX Chainsaw Guide for a variety of accurate cuts. An electric 14.5 amp Makita Chainsaw with a 16” bar is what we choose, but any saw can be used.
