Learn about all of the Connectors

There are four types of connectors to meet your needs: Standard, Post to Base, Multi-beam connectors and Diagonal connectors.

Custom sizes can also be ordered!

U.S. Patent No. 9,920,531

Standard Connectors

The standard connector is a T-Connector which fastens to wood in any direction, offered in over 20 different sizes.

T-Connectors and 1/2” pins are black e-coated; pins and appropriate wood screws are included in the price of each connector.

Be sure to measure your beams to determine if they are actual or nominal sizes!

Post To Base

Every post needs a base connection. T-Connectors provide a quick and effortless solution to an age-old problem of securing the post to concrete.

Drill screws into the concrete or stone to secure the connector, drop the slotted post on top, and it’s finished. Includes concrete screws and pins.

Be sure to measure your beams to determine if they are actual or nominal sizes!

Black 1” HDPE Risers are also available for separate purchase.

Multi-Beam

When multiple connections are required in one place, there can be issues such as screw interference and proper structural loading. There are (3) connectors available for these situations:

- Corner Connectors attach 2 or 3 beams with no screw interference

- Splice Connectors allow 4 or 5 beams to connect with no interference.

- 3 way connectors secure 2 horizontal beams to a vertical post using a “knife blade” connection

Diagonal

There are other situations requiring slightly different connections:

- Diagonal connectors are an ideal solution for knee bracing or diagonal support. Standard 45 degree Diagonals are offered to be used with 5.5” x 5.5” | 6” x 6" | 7.5” x 7.5” | 8” x 8” beams.

Risers

HDPE (high density plastic) risers elevate the end grain in high moisture areas, and provide the 1” above concrete that building codes and inspectors often require.

Risers are sold separately.
